Erin Elizabeth is a Chicago native dedicated to inspiring authenticity through her work. With a flair for humor in storytelling, she creates projects that encourage individuals to embrace their true selves. Erin is a two-time second rounder at the Austin Film Festival with her script, We the People, and her first short film, Beside Myself, is currently being distributed by Open Television, an Emmy-nominated platform that champions underrepresented voices.
Recently, she released her first half-hour comedy pilot, Weed Highly Recommend, a comedic and educational series about Marijuana—further showcasing her versatility and dedication to unique storytelling. In addition to her work as a writer and filmmaker, Erin is a SAG-AFTRA actress known for her roles in NBC's Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.
She is also thrilled to be a finalist in Tyler Perry Studios Dream Collective’s inaugural 2025 cohort as a director/writer!
